Garlic and Mullein Flower Oil

Mullein flower and garlic infused olive oil is one of the most popular natural remedies for ear infections/earaches. In folk medicine, mullein is revered for its ability to ease discomfort, and garlic is well-known for its immune supporting qualities. Both are used to encourage circulation and lymphatic flow, which may be helpful when ear discomfort is due to fluid buildup.

The garlic and mullein flowers are grown and harvested on our homestead, and then infused into organic olive oil. Suitable for dogs and cats as well.

Here’s how you can use it:

1. Warm the oil (not necessary, but makes it more comfortable): You can do this by placing the bottle in warm water for a few minutes.

2. Lie down on your side: Tilt your head sideways, with the affected ear facing upwards. This will allow easy access to the ear canal.

3. Apply drops: Carefully place a few drops of the mullein garlic oil into your ear canal. Gently massage around the exterior of your ear to help distribute the oil evenly.

4. Stay put: Remain in this position for about 10–15 minutes to allow the oil to penetrate deep into your ear canal.

5. Repeat as needed: Depending on the severity of your infection, you may need to repeat this process 2-3 times daily until symptoms improve.
